Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Miami, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Weekly Pay Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMFri09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial work location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns. Monitor access to the location by verifying authorization, observing visitor and contractor activity, and maintaining required entry and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and notifying appropriate personnel. Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence, observing conditions throughout the location, and communicating security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
